Join us on Saturday 16th August 2025 for One Big Walk, an unforgettable 12-hour challenge at Stormont Estate, Belfast. Whether you walk solo or as part of a team, every step you take helps provide specialist hospice care for local families.

Do I Have to Walk for 12 Hours? Not at All!

We’ve designed One Big Walk to be flexible and inclusive.
The day is divided into four themed quarters, each with its own fun and atmosphere – from superheroes to disco laps.

You can choose to:
✅ Stay for the full challenge (12–12)
✅ Join us for one or two sections
✅ Or come along for a few hours with friends or family

Many supporters are travelling from across Northern Ireland and beyond – if you’re coming from further away, you’re warmly encouraged to join us for the earlier part of the day or any quarter that suits you best.

However long you stay, you’ll be part of something truly special.

Why Take Part?

For over 42 years, our supporters have walked in solidarity to raise vital funds for NI Hospice. This year, we’re making it bigger than ever – bringing 1,000 walkers together to celebrate hospice care, remember loved ones, and push themselves to complete something meaningful.

How It Works

🌟 Walk from midday to midnight – go solo or share the challenge in a relay-style team.
🎭 Themed Laps – Join in fun laps like Fancy Dress, Pyjama Walk, and Glow-in-the-Dark!
🎶 Live Entertainment – Music, performances, and family-friendly activities.
💜 Candlelit Tribute (11PM) – A moment of remembrance for loved ones we've lost.
🍔 Food & Refreshments – Fuel up with food trucks, stalls, and sweet treats.

Fundraising & Entry

Every adult participant commits to raising £150 in sponsorship to help us provide compassionate hospice care to local families.

Entry Fees:

• Adult: £15

• Child: £10 (no fundraising target for children)

• Team of 6: £80

• Team of 12: £140
