Take on the Northumberland Coast Adventure for 4Louis!
Join us for a stunning 16-mile trek along one of England’s most breathtaking coastal routes — all to help 4Louis support bereaved families when they need it most.
Meeting in Craster, we head out towards Embleton Village for an inland start to warm up, passing World War II infrastructure and views to Dunstanburgh Castle along the way. We walk past Newton Pool Nature Reserve as we head onwards towards High Newton by the Sea. With a rest stop here, we set out along the coastal path towards Beadnell, where we can choose to have refreshments at The Landing cafe overlooking Beadnell Beach.
We set off back along the same track for a short way, and then join the Northumberland Coastal Path proper. Soon after resstarting from Beadnell, we arrive at Low Newton by the Sea, with the beautiful ‘The Ship’ pub. If we haven’t chosen to fill up in Beadnell, this would be a perfect lunch stop with their great food and selection of drinks.
From here, we walk together along the edges (or on the sands if you choose) of the beautiful Embleton Beach, this time approaching Dunstanburgh Castle directly. We closely bypass the Castle and take in the views of Queen Margaret’s Cove, as we continue on past Liverpool Hole to arrive back in Craster for well deserved refreshments at
The Jolly Fisherman Inn.
Whether you’re walking in memory of someone special or simply want to make a difference, this is a day of purpose, connection, and stunning scenery.
Sign up today and walk with us to support families through the heartbreak of baby loss. Every mile matters. 💜
