Our charity golf day at Gosforth Golf Club has become a hardy perennial in the North East golfing calendar. Hallmarked by its relaxed yet competitive atmosphere, it has developed a reputation for being one of the friendliest on-course days around. With a good mix of both corporate and military teams entering, all with the same common interest - they simply enjoy the pleasures of an honest round of golf.

As always, our golf day will start with a brew and a bacon butty as teams arrive and register. The teams of four will start at set tee times and then set off to explore the beautiful yet challenging course at Gosforth. On completion of the round, we will return to the clubhouse ready for the prize giving and the swapping of our day's golfing anecdotes. Please note that we may need to vary the programme for the day to comply with any public health restrictions that remain in place at the time.

There will be plenty of prizes plus a fantastic raffle. Because golf can be a thirsty business (particularly on a hot summer's day), a halfway house will be available for the purchase of light snacks and drinks. Once again, we will also offer the Ace Golf Challenge which will include a hole-in-one competition, and the chance to 'beat the golf pro'.
