Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully and make sure that you understand them before completing your registration. You should understand that by submitting your registration form for Newmarket Bubble Rush, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions for yourself and all those you are registering.

General

�	I acknowledge that I am participating in this event at my own risk and that East Anglia's Children's Hospices and Off Limits (event supplier), the sponsors or supporters of the event cannot be held liable for any injury, accident, loss, damage or public liability caused or sustained before, during, or after the event, as a result of my participation, unless caused by the negligence of both parties. 
�	I understand that any photographs or videos taken at the event may be used in publicity for this event and future events including on promotional materials and online. It is the participant's responsibility to let staff know at registration if you do not want to appear in any such materials.

Registration

I understand:
�	The entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.  Transfer of waves is not permitted. 
�	There is no minimum age limit however under 16s need to be accompanied around the course at all times by a responsible adult, who has also registered for and is participating in the event. One adult can accompany two children under 16.
�	Children aged 15 or under are charged a child�s ticket entry fee. Anyone aged 16 and over will be charged an adult ticket entry fee. Prices vary. 
�	Children aged 3 and under will be charged �4 but will not receive a t-shirt. They will receive a medal and running number. If you would like them to have a t-shirt please register them as a child aged 15 or under. 
�	The registration fee contributes largely to the cost of staging Newmarket Bubble Rush and includes your entry pack and fundraising materials. All funds donated or raised in sponsorship go towards patient care provision. 

Sponsorship

I understand: 
�	Sponsor forms are emailed and in your registration pack and we ask that all forms and sponsorship are sent back to EACH within 4 weeks of the event. By doing so, EACH can make sure that we are on target to achieve best possible care to those who need it. 
�	All funds raised by your participation in the event are raised for the sole purpose and benefit of EACH (registered charity no. 1069284) and those who receive the support from its services.

Safety

I understand: 
�	The course is approximately 5km, made up of a single lap or two laps of 2.5k long. The course is an approximate distance and will not be exactly 5km.
�	It is not a race and is a non-competitive, non-timed event. Participants can walk, jog or run and bypass obstacles / elements if necessary.
�	For your safety and enjoyment of the event, we ask that you follow and adhere to the instructions given by the event organisers and event marshals.
�	Please take care through the bubble stations. Be aware that ground conditions in and around the station can be muddy or slippery. Be aware of other people around you, particularly children. If you are taking part with a child please hold their hand through the bubbles.
�	No dogs should be brought along by participants in Bubble Rush and spectators must not take dogs on the course. This includes dogs that can be carried. This is in the best interest of all participants and your family pet. 
�	Bubble Rush involves a level of sustained physical activity. Participants make the decision to take part and must be satisfied that this activity is suitable for them as individuals. Neither EACH nor its affiliates can be held accountable for aggravation to illness or injury sustained due to participation in this activity. 
�	Participants are recommended to seek advice from their medical practitioner prior to taking part in this event, and make provisions to ensure their safe participation. 
�	You should not take part if you are, or think you might be, pregnant. 
�	On no account is alcohol to be brought into the event site or consumed during the event. EACH reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone under the influence of alcohol. 
�	We welcome wheelchair users, prams and pushchairs, however the route will include grass and paths which could be uneven, muddy or slippery, therefore we advise you check your chair can accommodate this and you may wish to bring someone along to help. Please ensure that you have taken this into consideration before booking, if you would like further information please contact the organiser prior to booking, for more details.
�	EACH reserves the right to update its terms and conditions in relation to Newmarket Bubble Rush at any time prior to the event. All participants will be provided with any updated terms and conditions in advance of the event.

About the Foam

I understand:
�	The foam mixture is completely natural and safe. It is advised that younger children wear swimming goggles or sunglasses, as they may be head deep at most bubble stations. 
�	Be careful when wiping your eyes with your hands if they have frothy suds all over them. Marshals will have paper towels and water to help with this if needed. 
�	The coloured foam is made from food dye and is water soluble as well as environmentally friendly. There is a chance that this foam may stain some lighter coloured push chairs and clothes.  It is advise to bring towels to sit on in the car on your journey home.
�	If you have any skin conditions, we would recommend you speak to your GP before participating.
�	The bubble operators at each station are professionally trained and will not shoot foam directly at faces.
�	EACH does not take any responsibility for any damage to any clothing or items belonging to the participants. Participants take part at their own risk.

Cancellation

�	EACH reserves the right to cancel this event at any time. In the event of this happening, entry fees and sponsorship will be refunded in full.
�	If the Event is cancelled because of circumstances of force majeure, the participant will not be entitled to any refunding of the entry fee and/or compensation of other losses, such as travelling or accommodation expenses.

Data protection 

�	The information you provide at registration will be shared with EACH and the event organisers Off Limits have signed a confidentiality agreement and will only use the data for the purpose of the event. Your information will be held securely with all reasonable precautions used to protect it. We will never sell or swap your data. 

Miscellaneous

�	I will not engage in any form of ambush marketing (ambush marketing is an activity by a party which utilizes the publicity value of an event without having any official involvement or connection with the event) and shall not breach or infringe the rights of any sponsor or other party commercially associated with the Event, nor conduct unauthorized promotions or other commercial activity.
�	By participating in the Event this does not confer any rights (by implication or otherwise) on the participant to use, alter, copy or otherwise deal with any of the symbols, trademarks, logos and/or intellectual property of the Event.
