Norfolk and Norwich Hospitals Charity Golf Day

 

We are delighted to announce Desira as the Headline Sponsor for the Norfolk & Norwich Hospitals Charity's first ever Charity Golf Day.

 

To be held at Barnham Broom Golf Club on Thursday 22nd May 2025.

 

As part of Desira’s headline sponsorship, they will be offering golfers the incredible opportunity to win an OMODA car by scoring a hole-in-one at the 17th hole.   

 

Alongside this Desira will be hosting a prosecco tent providing golfers with the opportunity to network alongside complimentary refreshments.

 

Gather your teams of 4 and come join for a day of golf, socialising, food and drink and a whole lot of fun whilst raising funds for the N&N Hospitals Charity. 

 

The golf day is set in the picturesque Norfolk Countryside of Barnham Broom, 6 miles West of Norwich.  Golfers will play the Valley Course is the premium course at Barnham Broom with its abundant water features, blending into the delightful natural landscape, designed by Frank Pennink, one of Europe’s most prominent and respected golf course architects.

 

Event Details:

Your day will begin with tea, coffee and bacon rolls on arrival, followed by an exciting 18-hole Stableford competition with handicap.  Afterwards, enjoy a delicious two course meal and evening entertainment, network with fellow participants and take part in our auction which will include some fantastic prizes such as golf vouchers, signed memorabilia, sporting goods and many more!

 

N&N Hospitals Charity

In addition to the main event, every golfer will receive a fabulous goodie bag at registration which will include some useful essentials for the day and you will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for our exciting raffle and get involved in some of the extra popular challenges to test their skills such as: "Mulligans, Longest Drive, Beat the Pro and the Putting competition".

 

Robotic Surgery Appeal

All proceeds from the N&N Hospitals Charity Golf day will go towards our 2025 appeal, Surgical Robots - JustGiving  which pledges to raise enough money purchase two new state of the art Surgical Robots. 

 

What will this mean for our hospital and patients?  This will mean more patients within our community are able to undergo safer, less invasive procedures which will ensure better surgical outcomes, resulting in shorter hospital stays and a reduced need for additional support post surgery.  This will in turn mean hospital and clinical resources are made more accessible with less waiting times for our patients within our community.

 

Together we aim to support even better care for patients, their families and our staff at the Norfolk and Norwich, Cromer & District and Jenny Lind Childrens Hospitals.
