Trial to select N.I. & Ulster Junior Squad 2025
 
Squad to be made up of 16 athletes, representing NIMRA in U17, U18 and U20 competitions.
 
NOTE - this is a new format and no summer trial will be held this year, to combat the difficulty of some athletes attending during family holidays...etc.
This date has been picked to select athletes just after Irish Schools XC, when hopefully the majority are at peak fitness to perform in the trial at their best.
 
Trial date - 22nd March 2025
 
Time - 2:00pm
 
Race Venue : Tollymore Forest main carpark - at the mountain end.

Mandatory Kit - Waterproof Jacket with Hood
 
Format - Single race format of approximately 5km and 200m+ climb.
 
 Eligibility - 8 female and 8 male athletes born in  2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006
 
U17 (2010, 2009)
U18 (2009, 2008)
U20 (2008, 2007, 2006)
Athletes must be a member of NIMRA to compete in the race and be eligible for selection. NIMRA registration is on the NIMRA website.
