Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, Yule, or any other festival at year's end, and happen to live with migraine, you may dread the return of the chaos that occurs around these events.

For many, this time of year, and the beginning of the next year can be a very depressing and stressful time.

To look at how these events can affect us, and how we can help ourselves through, MAI is delighted to welcome Dr. Dawn Buse back.

Dr. Buse will look at how to cope with some of the following

  • Pressure to host and/or attend dinners/parties
  • Expenses and financial pressures around the festivities
  • Stigma and attitudes of non-migraineurs
  • Guilt and other feelings
  • Effects of excitement
  • Children with migraine may miss out
  • Festive triggers and how to avoid them - e.g. flashing or flickering light, some foods, alcohol, etc
