The Women's Midnight Walk is back!

Join Dorothy House for the return of this beloved event as we walk to celebrate outstanding hospice care in our community! 

 

The event is on Saturday 11 June, and fabulous females aged 14+ are invited to sign up and take on the 5km Midnight Walk around the beautiful city of Bath.

 

Every participant will receive an exclusive and FREE Midnight Walk T-shirt to wear on the night!

 

This year’s theme is: get glowing in your neon outfits! So go as crazy as you like with your own groovy-glow accessories but most of all, be comfortable in what you’re wearing - so anything really does go.

Start at Bath Pavilion and arrive anytime from 10pm to enjoy drinks, food, fun, laughter, games, purchase some event merchandise and take part in the funky warm-up before we head off into the city to walk at midnight.

 

Finish with food and celebrations at the Pavilion before heading home, happy and glowing by 2am.  

 

Every lady who signs up is asked to raise a minimum of £40 in sponsorship, or you can make a donation in lieu of sponsorship. This money will fund the vital patient care we provide to those in our community.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

All entrants must enter online before taking part.  The deadline for online entry is Friday 10 June 2022 at midday. 

 

Places are strictly limited and entrants are NOT permitted to register on the night of the event.

 

Entrants must be aged 14 and over.  Children aged 16 years and under must be accompanied by a paying adult who will be responsible for their safety throughout the event.

 

The early bird entry fee for the Moonlight Walk is £15 up to and including Thursday 31 March 2022. From Friday 1 April the standard entry fee will be £20. 

 

All entrants are asked to raise at least £40 in sponsorship. By participating in this event, all entrants agree to raise sponsorship or to make a personal donation in lieu of raising sponsorship.

 

The entry fee covers expenses only and is non-refundable.

 

All sponsorship to be submitted by Friday 12 August 2022.

 

Any entrant who is unable to take part in the event should notify Dorothy House as soon as possible.

 

Any entrant considering using a mobility scooter should consult with Emily Aspin, Community and Events Fundraiser, before signing up.

 

Entrants are responsible for their own medical condition, ensuring they are fit to complete the walk within the two-hour time limit.

 

Please consult your doctor if you are in any doubt about your medical suitability.

 

Entrants are responsible for making their own way home after the walk. Please remember that this will be between 1am and 2am and public transport will not be available. Dorothy House staff cannot arrange transport.

 

Dorothy House may take photographs of the event and use them in publicity material, including on its website.  If you do not want your photograph to be used, please contact the Dorothy House Fundraising Team

 

By entering the event you agree to follow the reasonable directions of Dorothy House, the event marshals and abide by the Terms and Conditions of entry for the Midnight Walk.

 

Dorothy House Hospice Care reserves the right to cancel this event at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.

 

All participants walk at their own risk.

 

Dogs are not allowed to take part in the Midnight Walk, unless they are guide dogs.

 

In no event shall Dorothy House be liable for any injuries, loss, or damages whatsoever, including indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential losses connected with any aspect of this walk.
