Memory Walk 2026
The Memory Walk, taking place on Saturday 19th September 2026, is much more than an evening walk. It’s an opportunity to remember loved ones, celebrate cherished memories, support a vital local cause, and come together as a community.
Starting and finishing at The Living Well, Borough Road, WA10 3RN, this special event is one of the highlights of our fundraising calendar, and we would love for you to join us.
The Walk
The 8K route begins at The Living Well and follows Prescot Road towards the Wellington Pub before turning left and making its way towards the Hospice. Walkers will then return along Prescot Road back to The Living Well.
As you make your way around the route, you'll have the opportunity to reflect, remember, and honour those who are no longer with us. Whether you're walking in memory of a family member, friend, or someone special, every step is a tribute to the lives they touched.
Walking together with family, friends, and supporters, you'll be part of a special community event that celebrates life, love, and remembrance. More than just a walk, the Memory Walk is a shared experience that brings people together through reflection, support, and hope.
Supporting Willowbrook Hospice
The Memory Walk is a fundraising event in aid of Willowbrook Hospice, a local charity providing compassionate care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families, across St Helens and Knowsley.
By taking part, you are helping Willowbrook continue its invaluable work in the local community. Every registration fee, donation, and sponsorship raised makes a real difference to the patients and families who rely on the Hospice's services.
Registration Details
Registration opens at 6.30pm, with the walk setting off at 7.30pm.
Entry costs:
- Adults: £15
- Children: £5
- Family: £30
We encourage all participants to raise sponsorship to help support Willowbrook Hospice even further. When you register, an online fundraising page will be automatically created for you, making it easy to share your story and collect donations. You can also collect cash sponsorship using a sponsorship form. Please remember to ask your sponsors to Gift Aid their donations where eligible, helping us raise even more at no extra cost.
Join us for a memorable evening of reflection, remembrance, and community spirit. Together, we can honour those we miss, support those who need us now, and make every step count.
