Keep memories alive with a leaf on our Memory Tree

Our Memory Tree is a beautiful handmade copper sculpture, with individually crafted, delicate copper leaves hanging from its branches, each dedicated in memory of a loved one who has died. The Tree is usually situated in a quiet, private part of the Hospice garden, but as we are building a new Hospice on this site, it is going to be relocated to our Beacon Centre in Guildford from the end of July, for the duration of the build.

The Beacon Centre is located on the site of the Royal Surrey County Hospital, on Gill Avenue, Guildford GU2 7WW.

During this time, you can still buy and dedicate a leaf, and we will hang it on the Tree for you. Once the new Hospice is complete and open, we will move the tree back to the Hospice grounds, where you will be able to visit it and view your leaf.

By donating to our Memory Tree, not only will you keep the memory of your loved one alive – you will help us make sure we can continue to offer compassionate supportive and end of life care to the hundreds of people we help every day, 365 days a year.

Name a leaf on our Memory Tree

For a donation of £100 or more, you can dedicate a leaf to the person whose life you wish to celebrate and remember. The leaf will be engraved with their name and will be displayed on the Tree for 12 months. At the end of this period, you will have the option to donate again and keep the leaf on the Tree, or the leaf can be sent to you in a beautiful presentation box – yours to keep forever.

You can also purchase additional leaves to send to family and friends, for a minimum donation of £50 or more for each extra leaf.
