Join Cancer Fund for Children on Sunday 7th December for a 2 mile walk along the beautiful promenade in Newcastle, Co. Down in memory of your loved ones 💛

The evening will start at the Slieve Donard Resort & Spa in Newcastle, Co. Down. Attendees will take part in a 2 mile walk along the beautiful promenade, before returning to the Slieve Donard to enjoy refreshments and a crafts activity led by one of our Cancer Support Specialists which will allow you to leave with a meaningful gift in celebration of your loved ones.

Date: Sunday 7th December 2025

Location: Starting and finishing at the Slieve Donard Resort & Spa - Downs Road, Newcastle Co. Down, BT33 0AH

Parking: Public car parks and on street parking is available nearby.

Times: Sign in at the Slieve Donard from 6.00pm with walk start at 6.30pm sharp. The evening will end no later than 8.30pm.

Walk route: A 2 mile walk along the promenade from the Slieve Donard up to the Cone of Light and back again. It is a family friendly and accessible route.

Registration costs: £5 per child  |  £20 per adult

Fundraising: While we have no set minimum sponsorship for you to take on the walk, we simply ask you to raise as much as you can and your amazing donations will go a long way in ensuring hundreds of other families receive the right support at the right time. With you by our side, we can continue to ensure no family has to face cancer alone. You will automatically be set up with an online fundraising page once you register, and can contact us for additional materials such as sponsor forms, balloons, banners, buckets and / or charity literature.
