O R Tambo's London Recruits: People's Release Premiere +q&a
Thursday, 21 November 2024, 19:00
About: The People's Release Premiere is a people-powered screening of this award-winning film, in support of Action for Southern Africa, the successor organisation to the British Anti-Aparthied Movement. All proceeds will support ACTSA's work finding and supporting the next generation of activists across Southern Africa and in the UK. You can select a ticket-type priced accordingly, as well as tickets which are regular cinema prices. Tickets in each category are limited.
Booking: Each ticket type indicates which row the seat is in. Choose your preferred row and ticket type from the seat plan above when you book; we will send you numbered ticket(s) one week before the event by EMAIL. On the registration form we'll be able to distinguish which guests are coming together.
NB> the seating plan is just to show you which rows to choose from. It does not indicate how many seats are left. For instance Rows A/B/D/P are sold out. If the row says 'closed', it means all the seats are booked out in that row/category.
Two wheelchair/companion seats available as indicated in Row A are now booked. If you have access needs contact us [email protected] and we'll make arrangements to ensure you can attend.
A special Q&A will follow the screening, chaired by a People's Release Champion, with London Recruits, the film maker and other guests. We'll give more details on social posts.
You will also be able to pre-order a signed copy of the book 'London Recruits' and collect on the night. Select merchandise to order and pay the special price of £15 (usually £18.99). ACTSA also benefits from every book sold through this offer.

ACTSA is grateful to the London Recruits for the opportunity to share their stories and to raise funds at this special event for our ongoing activism against colonialism and the legacies of apartheid in Southern Africa. You can read more about our work here: www.actsa.org
