Join us for the fourth Little Lifts Trail Running Event on Saturday, 25th April 2026, with a start time of 10 am and arrivals from 8 am. We are so excited to be hosting this amazing event on trails that have rarely been run before, set in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside.

Take on the Trail Run for Little Lifts and help us support more people with breast cancer.

Little Lifts provides the most thoughtfully curated Boxes filled with products to help with emotional and practical support for people undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Why not raise funds to help us on our mission to provide everyone diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK with a Box?

Run either a 10k, 20k or 30k distance. All three routes are single laps and have staggered starts.

Team Challenge:

This year, we are excited to launch the Team Challenge across all three distances (10km, 20km, and 30km). This challenge encourages teamwork, wellness, and a bit of healthy competition to raise funds to support people with breast cancer.

Each team of four will be competing for the best average time, our winners of each course length will be awarded a special prize and recognition!

Fundraising:
For individuals, a fundraising page will be created automatically upon registration. While fundraising is not compulsory, we would love for you to be part of our fundraising community.

For the Team Challenge you will race together and fundraise together, committing to raising a minimum of £200 per team to help support people affected by breast cancer.

For every £20 you raise, your funds will fill a Radiotherapy Box or Surgery Box with products, and for every £40 raised, you will fill a Chemotherapy Box. We encourage you to seize this opportunity to make a difference and support more people receiving treatment for breast cancer.

Our top fundraisers (team and individual) will be awarded prizes to acknowledge their support and kindness.

We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at the event!

This event has been made possible thanks to our incredible sponsor, Rogers & Norton Solicitors, support from Norfolk Cordial and permission from Mr and Mrs Courtauld of Barningham Estate and other generous landowners. A HUGE thank you!

Course Details:

The race begins and ends within the normally private Barningham Estate, and all three courses will traverse across beautiful North Norfolk countryside. The courses are predominantly off-road on grass, farm tracks, gravel tracks, and private roads. Runners will have to cross over a number of quiet country lanes, and there are some short stretches along these quiet roads, but these have been kept to an absolute minimum.

The courses are beautifully varied in their terrain. All routes are undulating, featuring some short inclines and declines, narrow sections, woodland tracks, and paths across wide-open countryside. All three routes share parts of the course, but will also diverge and converge along the way. The entire course will be well signposted, and where possible, marshals will be positioned to help guide runners. However, runners should remain attentive and look out for the markers along the route. A GPX file and a map of the route will be shared before the event.

Race rules:

  • Minimum age is 15 on the day of the race for the 10km, and 17 on the day of the race for the 20 km and 30 km.
  • Cut off times: 10k route, please journey at your own pace (perfect for runners and walkers). 20k and 30k route, please aim to complete your route within 4 hours. This is to ensure everyone's safety and to respect our volunteers who give up their time to marshal. Please note that from the 4 hour mark, course signage with begin to be removed and marshals will leave their posts to travel back to HQ. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Runners to write their name, any medical conditions, emergency contact name and contact number on the reverse of their race number.
  • Numbers must be visible whilst racing – please provide your own safety pins to secure the race number to your clothing.
  • No pets allowed. There will be sheep in the parkland so please leave your pets at home.
  • Regrettably, the courses are not suitable for wheelchairs or prams.
  • Although the race route crosses and follows quiet roads for some short sections, they are NOT CLOSED from traffic and are narrow. Please follow Marshal’s directions at all times and keep to the left!
  • Do not litter the course. Bins will be provided at the start/finish and at water stations.
  • All runners must stay on the marked course. Do not run across crops and farmland unless instructed or signed to do so.
  • For safety reasons, we ask runners not to run with headphones.
  • Parts of the course are remote. We advise all runners to run with a phone or other form of communication in case of an emergency. If you have not already done so, please download the what.three.words app and familiarise yourself with how it works. A GPX File and a map of the run route will be shared before the event.
  • Entries are non-refundable. If you are unable to run on the day, transfers are available until midnight on 11/04/26, 14 days before the race. After this date, PLEASE DO NOT pass your race number to someone else. If you don't have anyone to take your place, please let us know and we can offer to our waiting list. To transfer an entry, please email:  [email protected]
  • The organisers accept no responsibility for runners’ vehicles, belongings, or baggage.
  • For runners taking part in the Team Challenge - if you do not have all four participants take place on the day due to injury or illness, you will still be able to race. The average time will be taken from the number of runners that race.
