Light Up The Night 2027

After the most amazing night that we had in 2026, Woodlands Hospice Light Up The Night is back!! It’s a chance to get together with family and friends and celebrate a loved one whilst helping raise vital funds for Woodlands Hospice.
We are so excited to say that all entertainment has confirmed again for 2027 and so we will have -
- DJ John spinning tunes to get the vibe just right.
- Carolyn McGuire from Jigsaw Fitness will lead a fun warm-up before the walk.
- A 5K Light Up The Night Walk with scenic views, suitable for all ages—and your furry friends too!
- Face painters with Face It Fun Parties to add a little sparkle to your evening.
- Live music to keep everyone entertained.
- Also enjoy the fantastic Diane from Angels & Scallies performance inside The Lake House to keep the kids engaged and entertained.
Where and when?
Registration will open at 3pm in the main foyer of the Lake House.
What to expect
The walk will start at 6pm and will be set at a family and dog friendly pace as there will be lead and rear marshalls guiding the way as well as many other friendly faces in place to encourage you along the way.
The walk finishes back at The Lake House, where you will receive your medal and a huge thank you you from us all!
Get your glow on!
We encourage you to dress up as brightly as possible and there will be a prize for the most glowiest adult, the most glowiest child and the most glowiest dog! A fantastic range of glow accessories will be available to purchase on the night.

As you will know fundraising is essential to keep Woodlands Hospice services running. As an independent charity we need to raise £4,000 per day to be able to continue to provide our services free of charge to those who need us at their most vulnerable.
You will be sent a link to your unique online fundraising page, which will allow you to share your incredible efforts with family, friends and across all social media platforms.

Woodlands Hospice Charitable Trust is an independent charity, located in Aintree Merseyside, is devoted to improving the quality of life for patients and their families.
Our main aim is to make a difference by providing specialist palliative care to patients living with cancer and other life limiting illnesses, this care often extends out to the patients carers, family and friends.
