Join us on Sunday 26th April 2026 for our 11th annual Cycle Challenge!

A day that promises excitement, endurance, and adventure for cyclists and families alike! Ride through the breathtaking Pennines on our scenic routes, where every climb is rewarded with views that, on a clear day, stretch as far as North Wales, Cheshire, and Blackpool. Choose from our 44-mile Standard route, the challenging 66-mile Long route or our new 21-mile Team Relay for groups of three, perfect for those looking to share the thrill together.

All routes feature some heart pounding climbs, 

• Standard route has a total of 10 climbs including 2 category 3 and 2 category 4.
• Long route has a total of 13 climbs including 2 category 3 and 4 category 4.
• Relay route has a total of 7 climbs including 1 category 3 and 1 category 4.

Every cyclist that completes their chosen route will be celebrated with a medal, with special trophies awarded to the fastest finishers on each route. After tackling the hills, enjoy light refreshments, and bring your family to join the festivities! This year, our Family Fun Zone is bigger and better than ever, complete with games, a climbing wall, and a cycling skills zone to test your abilities. New this year - Enjoy our exciting GPS timing which comes with an app for all to track and follow their favorite riders. 

Restrictions - Cyclists must be over 16, all riders must wear a helmet, no helmet, no participation.

Max Time 5 Hours –  A sweeper vehicle will be in operation to collect any riders that are unable to complete the route within the time limit.
