Race The Runway 2024

Kinloss Army Barracks 2.4km runway is a rare treat.  With only a small number of fellow participants, the runway is open all afternoon for you to test your car's top speed.  In 2023's superb day, 197mph was the top speed, from a range of mostly Porsches and Lambos. Enjoy the thrill of speed in this perfect setting, near the Moray coast.

Finish the day with a sumptuous dinner, hosted by the Army, in the prestigious Officers Mess. Rev your engines for 2024!

What’s happening on the day:

With spaces for only 30 cars, this is an exclusive and rare chance to get onto the ex-RAF runway at Kinloss’ Army barracks.

• Saturday afternoon – BBQ lunch.  Racing on the runway, individual runs and paired drag-races both possible.
• Saturday evening – Regimental-style dinner in The Officers Mess
• Sunday morning – shooting on the Army's indoor laser range.

What’s included:

• £100 - early reservation (non-refundable), remaining £275 to be paid in June.
• £375 – entry for driver and car, lunch on arrival
• £50 - additional passenger per car (one passenger only)
• £50 – 3-course Regimental-style dinner in Officers Mess (to be billed separately)
