More than a million people could be forced to turn to food banks as the UK government plans to cut Universal Credit and Working Tax Credit payments by £20 a week this October. This cut will be a devastating blow for millions of households which are already struggling to make ends meet. 

Without a huge amount of public pressure, the UK government will go ahead with this cut and we can’t let that happen.
