Important Information about Junior Warrior 3k and 6k

Junior Warriors aged 6 and 7 must be accompanied by an adult; for those aged 8 and over, adults have the option to run with their child if they would like to.

Participants in the Junior Warrior 6k MUST BE AGED 14+ BY EVENT DAY TO TAKE PART

ADULT ENTRY IS ONLY £15 FOR THOSE WHO HAVE REGISTERED FOR TOTAL WARRIOR ORIGINAL (12K) OR TOTAL WARRIOR HALF (6K). If this applies to you, please email your main event entry confirmation (12K or 6K) to [email protected] and request your promo code for the £15 Junior Warrior entry.

For adults who have NOT entered one of these events, but would still like to run with their child(ren), the price is £25.

To ensure Candlelighters raise enough from the events to cover our costs and then fund the many support services we provide for families, we need participants to raise the minimum fundraising target amount for each event. If you want to support us but aren’t sure if you’ll be able to reach the target, please do get in touch with us for a chat and we’ll help find the best way for you to support us.

By taking on a challenge event for Candlelighters, you’ll be joining #TeamCandlelighters and making a difference to children and families. As part of #TeamCandlelighters, you will receive a fundraising pack and support from our fundraising team, a technical running t-shirt or Vest, and access to our #TeamCandlelighters Facebook group where members can share tips, ask questions and get support. JUNIOR WARRIOR 3K 2026

Bigger, Better and Muddier. After a whopping 8,000 Junior Warriors completed the 2025 event, Junior Warrior returns for another amazing 3K course, packed with obstacles to challenge the whole family.

Suitable for big and little kids aged 6 and over. Adults can also take on the course – including most obstacles – with their young ones. Taking on ‘Muddy Mayhem’, ‘Canopy Climb’ and the awesome new ’Slideaway’ to name a few. They will have to run, climb, jump, crawl and slide their way around 15 Challenging Obstacles.

BRAND NEW FOR 2026 IS THE JUNIOR WARRIOR 6K EVENT ON SUNDAY 28TH JUNE.

After the huge success of our sell out Junior 3K event, we now bring you our epic Junior 6K event.
This event is not timed and is specifically for families, youth clubs and sports clubs wanting to bring teenagers (must be aged 14+) to take on our specially designed 6K Warrior course. There’ll be no ice plunges or electric shocks, but we do have tonnes of mud, a fire jump, a 100ft slide and 12 other adrenaline filled obstacles to challenge your group. Parents, carers and sports team captains etc must accompany any children aged under 16 for the entire course route and with a minimum ratio of 1 adult to every 4 children.
