Terms and Conditions

Remote JETRide - terms and Conditions  

These terms and conditions are to ensure that you fully understand the risks associated with taking part in JETRide remotely (henceforth referred to as the 'Challenge').  Please read carefully to avoid problems later. 

This Challenge is to raise funds exclusively for the Jon Egging Trust. 

To register for the Challenge, you agree to pay a non-refundable Registration Fee to the Jon Egging Trust. The entry fee is �25 per person, to be paid for at time of registration. 

Any money raised through sponsorship money is to be donated exclusively to the Jon Egging Trust and no other charity. When asking for donations, you must make clear to any donor that the donation will be used to support the work of the Jon Egging Trust. As a result, any donation will not be refundable, even if you do not take part in or complete the Challenge. 
Except where the Jon Egging Trust, at its sole discretion, refuses a participant entry to the Challenge, all Registrations Fees are non-refundable once booked. 

If for any reason the Challenge is cancelled or postponed, please contact us for further arrangements by emailing jetride@joneggingtrust.org.uk. 

All participants agree to follow current Covid-19 government guidelines when taking part in the Challenge. 

If the Challenge is cancelled due to Covid-19, the participant will be entitled to a full refund or can choose to donate their entry fee to Jon Egging Trust.  
There is no minimum age for taking part in this Challenge. 

By signing up to this Challenge, you agree that you are physically fit enough to complete the challenge. Anyone unsure of their physical ability should take medical advice from a professional practitioner prior to the challenge. 

Liability/Insurance 

The Jon Egging Trust, managers and promoters of this Challenge cannot accept liability for injury, loss or damage caused or sustained as a result of participation in this Challenge (except where such liability cannot be excluded by law). The Charity�s promoters and managers cannot accept any liability for any changes made to the Challenge for safety reasons, or as otherwise planned through circumstances beyond their control.  

Jon Egging Trust is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that take place during the challenge and advice individuals to take the necessary precautions laid out in this document to avoid any incidents.  Participants are not insured through Jon Egging Trust so you may wish to take out your own personal insurance policy for the duration of the challenge 
 

Data and Photographic Consent 

You consent to the personal information provided by you being collected, held, used and shared by the Jon Egging Trust in accordance with our privacy policy:  https://www.joneggingtrust.org.uk/privacy-policy/ 
It will be stored on a secure database. It will only be collected, used or shared with or by third parties for the following reasons: 
the functional and administrative purposes of hosting the Challenge 
to inform the Jon Egging Trust of any health and safety or safeguarding issues, accidents or incidents and to allow them to undertake full investigation into such issues.
