This Chip timed loop course gradually climbs out of Portree for the first 1.5 miles before a steep climb at Druimuie leading to a now fast downhill 2 miles to the Kensalyre turn. The race then follows a single track through spectacular Isle of Skye countryside including the Snizort river.
Finishers can look forward to a bottle of Cuillin Brewry Ale and other goodies.
The 2021 Skye Half is focused on sustainaibilily. To help reduce waste we are not offering t-shirts as part of the entry price, however you can pre-order a t-shirt from our merchandise stall. This is not the only change to the way we do things, from water, medals, travel, food stalls, merchanise; we have taken the time to lessen the impact of the way we do things.
There is also a Fun Run (manually timed) with a fantastic bespoke Isle of Skye medal for all finishers and great age group category prizes. Entries are also online in advance.
