We are delighted to announce that journalist and author Hugh Pym will be joining us for what promises to be a fascinating evening exploring what it was like reporting on the Covid-19 pandemic over the last 2 years and the challenges this posed to the media.

Hugh is the BBC's Health Editor. He has been reporting politics, economics, public spending and NHS finance for more than two decades. He was a correspondent for ITN and has co-authored several books including Inside The Banking Crisis. Hugh has been reporting on the impacts of the pandemic both globally and in the UK, exploring topics such as the impact of Government television briefings during the crisis and the ongoing effects on the NHS and patient safety.

Please join us for drinks and canapés from 6:30pm with the talk to commence at 7 pm with the opportunity for a Q&A.
