Introducing CHECT’s brand-new virtual Hospital to Hospital Challenge.

The challenge is to cover 122 miles (one-way) or double the distance with 244 miles (round trip) in 30 days – the distance between The Royal London Hospital and Birmingham Women’s and Children's Hospital, the only two hospitals in the UK treating retinoblastoma.

How you complete the challenge is up to you - walk, cycle, swim, skate, or mix it up! Take part solo, as a family, or as a team, and complete the distance at your own pace, wherever you are.

Every mile covered and every pound raised will support CHECT’s work in supporting those affected by retinoblastoma – a rare childhood eye cancer.

Good luck and thank you for your support.

What your support means

£10 – Could fund a Pip the Penguin, a toy given to our brave children adjusting to life after enucleation (removal of the eye/s). Pip helps children understand and find courage during one of the toughest moments in their lives.

£20 – Could fund a face-to-face support session for a newly diagnosed family, ensuring they have someone to guide them through the emotional and practical challenges of cancer treatment.

£50 – Could fund a place at a regional event for a family feeling isolated, giving them the opportunity to meet others who truly understand their circumstances.

£250 – Could fund a support grant for a family facing financial hardship, ensuring they can access the support they need without worrying about the cost.
