Hiking Heroes - Snowdon(Yr Wyddfa) by Sunrise 2nd June 2024

Make 2024 an unforgettable year by taking on Snowdon by sunrise on Sunday 2nd June. 

Compton Care and the Wolves Foundation have joined forces for an unforgettable Snowdon sunrise trek. Supporting different communities across Wolverhampton and the Black Country fund from this event will be split equally between both charities to help the communities that they support.  

The hike, which is being led by the Sky Blue Adventures team, will start at 01:45 along the Llanberis Path. You will reach the Snowdon summit at around 5am and have the special opportunity to enjoy the blissfully quiet, breath-taking, panoramic views during the golden sunrise. 

As part of our team of Hiking Heroes, you will be fully supported on the stunning nine-mile trek by experienced mountain leaders. Taking around six hours from start to finish, you will be greeted by bubbles and breakfast once the trek is completed at around 9am 

 If you are moderately fit, climbing Snowdon is definitely within your reach and experience not to be missed! 

There will be a chance to hear from Sky Blue Adventures and meet fellow Hiking Heroes before the event

Itinerary: 

• 01:45 - Meet Sky Blue Adventures Team at Snowdon mountain railway station. 
• 02:00 - After a team briefing commence climb on the Llanberis Path 
• 05:00 - Reach Snowdon Summit and enjoy the stunning panoramic sunrise views 
• 05:30 - Start descent down the Llanberis Path 
• 09:00 - Arrive in Llanberis and finish challenge with bubbles and breakfast!

Hike Only - £40:00

We ask you to fundraise a minimum of £250.00 by Sunday 2nd June. All fundraising for the event will be split equally between Compton Care and Wolves Foundation.
