Join the Hike for Hope!
Join us for our third featured fundraising event of the year as we come together to hike Slieve Binnian in support of PIPS Suicide Prevention Charity and the life saving work they do every day.
Every step on this hike represents something bigger. It is for those we have lost, for those still struggling and for the people who show up every day to provide support when it is needed most.
Surrounded by the stunning landscape of the Mourne Mountains, we will take on one of Northern Ireland’s most iconic peaks. The hike is approximately 11.2 km (7 miles) and typically takes between 3.5 and 5 hours to complete.
Whether you’re new to hiking or have years of experience on the trails, Hike for Hope welcomes all abilities. The route is challenging but achievable, making it a great opportunity to take on your first mountain hike or enjoy a rewarding day in the Mournes with friends, family and fellow supporters. Participants should be prepared for a 3.5 to 5 hour hike over varied terrain.
Along the way, you will walk beside others who understand why this cause matters. Some will be hiking in memory of loved ones, some in support of friends or family and others simply to stand alongside those affected by suicide.
This is more than just a hike. It is a shared experience that brings people together through purpose, connection and community.
No matter your reason, your presence makes a difference.
