Healthcare Practitioners are invited to join us for our online event where Dr. Alina Buture, Consultant Neurologist from the Mater Hospital, Dublin will look at how to approach a headache patient from a HCP perspective.

This talk will focus on the assessment and management of patients with headache in primary care. It will outline common and red-flag headache presentations, evidence-based approaches to initial management, and when to refer for specialist review. The session will also describe the referral criteria for the Headache Service at the Mater Hospital and provide practical strategies to support effective headache care in the community.

Dr Alina Buture is a Consultant Neurologist who co-leads a multidisciplinary Headache Service at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in Dublin and is involved in service development and research in headache disorders.
