Flight Itinerary

The flight to Addis Ababa departs from Dublin/London on Thursday 14 November 2024 (arriving in Addis Ababa on Friday 15). The option is to return to Dublin/London on either Monday 18 or Wednesday 20 (overnight flights). If you travel to the Orbis Projects, we will fly from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch on 18 November and return on 20 November.

Accomodation

Rooms are arranged on a shared basis. A supplement is required for a single room: €150 weekend / €250 week

Merchandise

Before the trip, you will receive an Orbis-branded T-shirt, fleece and baseball cap. You will receive the official Great Ethiopian Run t-shirt once we arrive in Addis Ababa.

Fundraising

By registering for the Orbis trip to the Great Ethiopian Run, you are pledging to raise the required amount to cover your costs and a donation towards our sight-saving work in Ethiopia. Once you have completed the registration form, you will be directed to create a fundraising page. This is a great way to collect donations from friends, family and colleagues.

Before participating in the Orbis Ireland trip to Ethiopia (November 2024), all participants must read the Terms and Conditions and the Waiver and Release. This outlines the potential risks and responsibilities involved in the trip and releases the organisers from any liability for injuries or damages that may occur. It is important that participants read and understand the terms and conditions, waiver and release before agreeing to it.
