End Youth Homelessness is excited to launch our first ever national gaming festival, bringing together gaming enthusiasts from across the UK in a bid to level the playing field for homeless young people.

Whether you’re a Call of Duty King, super Scrabbler or Fortnite Fiend, there’s something for everyone. We’re challenging you to Game On and raise awareness and vital funds to help vulnerable young people find a safe, secure place to call home.

Who we are

End Youth Homelessness (EYH) is a UK-wide movement of leading local charities that have joined forces to tackle youth homelessness. Together with our member charities, we are preventing a spiral into homelessness by supporting over 30,000 16-25 year olds each year. Find out more about our Members and how to get involved here.

Homelessness devastates young lives. Last year over 121,000 young people in the UK were homeless or at risk of homelessness. Some facing serious danger on the streets.

But there’s still hope. With the right opportunities and support, homeless young people can turn their lives around and build successful futures. Find out more about the work we do here.

The Event

It’s time to level the playing field and give young people a brighter future. From April 2^nd to April 17^th, we’re asking the public to come together and join our battle to end youth homelessness.

All you need to do is pick the game of your choice, and play it forward by inviting friends, family, colleagues and followers to join you in raising money for EYH Charities.

Everyone’s efforts during the two-week period will culminate to our Grand Finale on Saturday17^th April where we will be celebrating successes, sharing stories of your impact and hearing from those that have taken part. There will also be our exclusive prize draw and the chance to get your hands on some fantastic treats!

Fundraising

121,000 young people faced homelessness in the UK last year so we invite you to raise £121 to show your support.

£121 could equip a young person with the home essentials they need to make their new house a home.

There are plenty of ways to raise your funds; here are just a few ideas:

• Host a Video Gaming Tournament and charge an entrance fee.
• Tag-team marathon – team up & complete a game in 24 hours.
• Extreme streams: Host a stream in fancy dress. How about your favourite gaming or in character?
• The Ultimate Forfeit: allow viewers or family and friends to give you forfeits in exchange for donations if you fail a level or lose a round you will have to complete the dare.
