GWAAC Corporate Golf Day Terms and Conditions

Please read and agree to these terms and conditions prior to entering the golf day, any queries should be raised directly with Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC).

Your booking:
1.1 Only the persons named on the registration form will be able to participant on the day.

1.2 All teams must be ready to tee off at their selected time. If for any reason you are not able to tee off at your allocated timeslot, we will try our best to allocate you an alternative timeslot however, we can�t guarantee availability outside of your booked timeslot, which could lead to not taking part in the golf day at all. In this case your registration fee and any monies raised will be non-refundable.

1.3 If an individual in your team is unable to participate in the event, due to illness or in any other circumstance, please inform us in writing as soon as possible. Should you wish to transfer your place to another person please get in touch with GWAAC directly who will discuss whether this is possible on a case-by-case basis. 

2. Registration Fee
2.1 You must pay a non-refundable registration fee of �400 to secure your team�s entry in the event. All invoices must be paid by 1 September 2024.

2.2 The money that raised helps make it possible for GWAAC�s crew to be there for the most critically ill and injured people in Bristol, South Glos, Gloucestershire, North East Somerset and parts of Wiltshire. GWAAC sends the skills and equipment found in a hospital Emergency Department to the scene of the most serious medical and trauma incidents. Whether by helicopter or critical care car, it rapidly dispatches a specialist team to people in urgent need of critical care.  From re-starting hearts to giving blood at the scene of an accident, GWAAC�s Critical Care Team can perform lifesaving procedures, all before the patient reaches the hospital, giving them a better chance of survival. 

3. Health and Safety/Conduct
3.1 Whilst every effort is made to ensure our events are accessible, this cannot always be achieved. If this could affect you, please get in touch before registration to discuss. 

3.2 Please read the Minchinhampton Golf Club Guidance included in this registration form for information about golf etiquette and care of the course. Further information about health and safety and course conduct can be found here www.minchinhamptongolfclub.co.uk  

4. Photography and Recording:
4.1 Photos and video will be taken on the day and shared afterwards on GWAAC social media, marketing materials and the GWAAC website, for the promotion of future events. Whilst we do our best to ensure there is a photo of everyone, we cannot guarantee this. 

4.2 If you would prefer not to have your picture taken, please let us know on the day when you check in. 

7. Refunds and Cancellations:
7.1 The golf day will take place in all weather conditions other than high winds, lightning, other extreme weather or potential other unforeseen circumstances eg. Restrictions based on COVID-19 pandemic. 

7.2 In the event of GWAAC or Minchinhampton Golf Club cancelling or postponing the event all participants will be offered to transfer to a new date, to be agreed with the venue. 

7.3 If you unable to make the new date for the event, your registration fee and any monies raised will be non-refundable however you can transfer your place to a nominated person.

Minchinhampton Golf Club - Guidance Notes for Visitors

We entertain a number of groups and societies playing golf at Minchinhampton Golf Club every year and have drawn up these guidance notes to ensure that all visiting golfers understand the customs and conventions that are observed by our own members, with the aim of ensuring that every golfer enjoys their game.

1.	Tee Times: Please ensure that golfers in your Team are assembled ready to play at the appropriate tee at least 5 minutes ahead of their allotted time. 
 
2.	Tees: We prefer all golfers to play from the Yellow or Red tees as appropriate

3.	Slow Play: Slow play on the course is the bane of every golfer�s life. We request that you play in a Stableford format (a golfer who cannot score is asked to pick up their ball rather than holing-out) to prevent delaying other golfers. A round of golf at Minchinhampton Golf Club should take no more than 4 hours to complete a round. 

4.	Care of the Course: Minchinhampton Golf Club takes great pride in the condition of our golf course, the quality of which gives pleasure to visitors and members alike. We ask that all golfers treat the course with respect, paying particular attention to the three R�s - Replace Divots, Rake Bunkers, Repair Pitchmarks

5.	Golf Etiquette: The Club insists that all golfers observe the etiquette of golf. Any person found not observing standard etiquette may be asked to leave the course

6.	Dress Code: All golfers are asked to observe the Minchinhampton Golf Club dress-code on both the course and in the clubhouse. A copy of the dress-code can be found on our website:
