Brave the heat for St. Michael's Hospice: Join Our Firewalk Challenge!

Are you ready to push your limits and ignite your courage? This October, we invite you to take part in a thrilling Firewalk to raise money to support the work of St. Michael’s Hospice. Celebrate bonfire night early and walk barefoot over hot coals for a fantastic cause!

Challenge Yourself: Firewalking is an ancient practice that tests your physical and mental strength. Step out of your comfort zone and discover your true potential.

Support families: Every step you take enables the Hospice to continue providing free vital care for people across North Hampshire who have a life-limiting illness, are facing the end-of-life or experiencing bereavement. 

Expert Guidance: On the night, you'll receive training from a firewalking expert ensuring you complete the walk safely and confidently.

Unforgettable Experience: Conquer the coals and celebrate your achievement with a glass of fizz, a medal, and certificate.

FAQ

What are the timings of the event?

  • 6.30pm:   Arrival and registration
  • 7pm:        Training seminar for participaints and fire performers, entertainment for spectators     
  • 8.30pm:   Firewalk 
  • 9pm:        Thanks and finish

What are the costs for the event?

Each fearless walker will need to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £30 and raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship.

What is included?

Your £30 entry fee covers:

  • Entry into the challenge
  • St. Michael's Hospice T-shirt
  • A warm-up and briefing from the experts to get your adrenaline pumping
  • A certificate and a glass of fizz once you complete the challenge

Who can take part?

Anyone over the age of 18 who can walk at a controlled pace can join our FIREWALK. If you have an existing medical condition, please check with your GP before registering. Everyone will be asked to complete a waiver form on the day of the event.

What information will I receive?

After registering, you will receive a payment confirmation email and a welcome email with your fundraising pack and a link to your online fundraising page. Closer to the event, you will receive additional details. If you have any questions in the meantime, please email [email protected].

How do I organise event sponsorship?

Once you've registered online, a sponsorship page will automatically be created. You will receive a link to your personal sponsorship page, which you can share with friends, family, and colleagues to gather support and sponsorship. We believe you are doing something amazing, and we’re sure everyone else will think so too!
