It's time to face the flames and put your bravery to the test by taking on our adrenaline fuelled challenge - the FIREWALK! Celebrate bonfire night a week early this October and walk on hot coals!

Our FIREWALK is the perfect excuse to step out of your comfort zone as you walk barefoot over red-hot embers in aid of St. Michael’s Hospice. Firewalking is a practice that has been used for centuries to test physical and mental limits and explore the relationship between fear, fire, and belief.

On the night you will meet with a fire walking expert from Firewalking UK who will offer you top tips and training, ensuring that you take on your challenge without experiencing pain or injury. All you need to bring is your game face and plenty of courage! 

The challenge costs just £30 and spaces are limited so make sure you sign up today! All we ask is that you raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship, if you reach the target then you will recieve a FREE St. Michael's Hospice t-shirt. 

Following your walk, you will receive a glass of Prosecco, medal and a FIREWALK certificate.

FAQ's -

What are the timings of the event?

6:00pm - 6:30pm - Arrival and registration

6:30pm - 8:00pm - Training Session to get excited and ready to walk!

8:00pm - 8:30pm - Firewalk & wrap up.

What are the costs for the event?

Each fearless walker will need to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £30 and raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship.

What is included?

Included within your entry fee of £30 will be entry into the challenge, a warm up and briefing from the experts at Firewalking UK to get your adrenaline pumping as well as a certificate and glass of fizz once you complete the challenge!

Who can take part?

Anyone over the age of 18 years who can walk at a controlled pace can take part in our FIREWALK. If you have an existing medical condition, please check with your GP before registering for the event. Everyone will be asked to completed a waiver form from Firewalking UK on the day of the event. 

What information will I receive? 

Once you have registered, you should receive a payment confirmation email. If you have not received this, please call us on 01256 848848.

You will also receive a welcome email which includes your fundraising pack as well as a link to your online fundraising page. Make sure you add your photo and let people know why you are taking part!

How do I organise event sponsorship?

Once you've register online, you will be sent a link to your personal sponsorship page which you can share with friends, family and colleagues to gather their support and sponsorship. We think you are doing something amazing and we are sure everyone else will think so too!
