Boxing Gloves Gift - £25

For Maya*, putting on her boxing gloves means more than just exercise. After childhood trauma and the years of anger that followed, Maya has learnt how to support her own physical and mental wellbeing through boxing. She’s empowered herself to feel happier, hold her head high, and focus on the future. “When you’re boxing, it means you can't focus on any of the other thoughts that might be bothering you and it clears your head.”

A ‘Boxing Gloves Gift’ can empower a young person like Maya to improve their wellbeing through boxing, by focussing on positive outcomes. 

 

 Boxing Therapy Gift - £50

Boxing Therapy is a pioneering approach to improving mental health for young people. Following traumatic experiences in care, and teen years plagued by poor mental health and drug use, Malik* found a way forward through his Boxing Therapy sessions. Malik has found a purpose in life, and is planning a positive future which he’s in control of. 

A ‘Boxing Therapy Gift’ will help more young people like Malik discover a new future following traumatic childhoods.

What is a gift?

Your gift is actually a donation, which will be used where it is needed most to help transform young lives. The gift you choose for your loved one is an example of a typical item or service which can be provided to a young person at Empire Fighting Chance. 

What does the gift pack include? 

On choosing a gift, you will receive a pack containing: a postcard for you to write a personal message to your loved one, along with a Empire Fighting Chance magnet, and an information card so your recipient can see the impact of your gift. 

Where is my gift sent? 

Your gift pack will be posted to the address provided at checkout for you to then give to your lucky recipient. If you’d prefer to receive a PDF email pack, please email [email protected] with your order number. Orderswill be posted via Royal Mail 2nd class. PDF email packs will not receive a magnet. 

How does Empire Fighting Chance use funds raised? 

The funds raised through our Give a Gift campaign will be used to transform the lives of vulnerable young people. Proceeds from this campaign will be used in general support of Empire Fighting Chance’s aims and will be spent wherever we see the greatest need, and where we feel the funds can have the greatest impact.

Why is it asking me to register / register participants? 

'Register' and 'register participants' is the same as 'donate' or 'donate another gift'. The online platform we use to collect donations is called Enthuse and is traditionally used for event registration. Using this platform enables us to put more of your donation directly towards supporting young people, and less towards admin fees!
