Ellie’s Mini Marathon is coming to Dartford for 2026! With three exciting races for ages 2–16, plus a Parents’ Fun Race to finish the day with a smile, there’s something for every young runner!

📅 Date: Saturday 18 April 2026

📍 Location: Central Park Arena, Central Park, Cranford Road, Dartford, DA1 1JP

Four Races, Four Times the Fun! 🎽

👶 Mini Mini Marathon (Ages 2–4) – One lap of the running track (400m)

🧒 Mini Marathon (Ages 5–11) – Six laps of the running track (approx. 2.4km)

🧑‍🦱 Mini Marathon (Ages 12–16) – Six laps of the running track (approx. 2.4km)

🏃‍♂️ Parents’ Fun Race – One lap of the running track (400m)

⏰ Timings:

• 1:00 PM – Registration opens
• 1:30 PM – Mini Mini Marathon (Ages 2–4)
• 2:00 PM – Mini Marathon (Ages 5–11)
• 2:45 PM – Mini Marathon (Ages 12–16)
• 3:30 PM – Parents’ Fun Race

Registration Fees:

👟 Mini Mini Marathon (Ages 2–4) – £5 per child

👟 Mini Marathon (Ages 5–11 years & 12–16 years) – £10 per child

👟 Parents’ Fun Race – £5 per adult 

These ticket prices cover the cost of delivering the event, including safety measures, facilities and event materials. Any sponsorship raised goes directly towards funding the care and support ellenor provides to families facing life-limiting illnesses.

We’re inviting all Mini Marathoners to raise a suggested minimum of £35 per child to help fund vital hospice services in the local community. Fundraising is an important part of this event and helps us continue providing specialist care and support to families who need us.

Small Print

• On the day of the event, participants must be aged 16 or under unless accompanying an under 5.
• Children under 5 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times, including during the run.
• Runners aged over 16 must be accompanying a participating child (except during the Parents’ Fun Race).
• All participants enter this event at their own risk and ellenor is not liable for any injury or loss that may occur as a result of participation.
• Registration fees are non-refundable, so please check your diary before booking.
• Dogs are not permitted inside the venue.
• Smoking, vaping and the consumption of alcohol or drugs are not permitted in the grounds of the venue.
