East Anglian Air Ambulance is hosting a Level 1 Pre-hospital Point of Care Ultrasound Course (POCUS).
East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) has developed an extensive education programme for the use of ultrasound in the pre-hospital environment.
Point Of Care Ultrasound is used by Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, Anaesthetics and Pre-hospital specialists to add valuable information to a clinical assessment. It specifically refers to ultrasound used to make a specific clinical decision.
Our POCUS course is unique in that we teach you the basics of scanning and then how to apply it to pre-hospital cases. We have an expert faculty that have a multitude of different accreditations including BSE, FUSIC, RCEM, FAMUS among others. All of our faculty are active in acute care settings and provide a wealth of knowledge. We also show you how clinical governance is the lynchpin to effective POCUS use in any organisation.
This course is endorsed by The University of East Anglia.
