Two races and one unforgettable finish! The World Heritage Site provides the stunning backdrop to this exciting event that chases through the narrow cobbled streets and along the beautiful River Wear with the imposing 900 year old Cathedral always beckoning. There can hardly be a more spectacular setting for a Summer Night of racing and fun. Tell me more, tell me more!

The 5k and 10k races start 20 minutes apart, facing each other across the ancient Market square. 5k runners will set off first at 7.00pm, with the 10k runners following 20 minutes later. Whichever you elect for, you will finish at Millennium Place, the new city centre hub. With a little luck you may have produced your own historical performance to match the surrounding splendour! All competitors have free access to the Durham City Park and Ride system so no need to worry about parking, you can run, recover and relax!
