RACE DUNVEGAN: A Magical Run on the Isle of Skye

Join us for an unforgettable experience on Saturday 29th March 2025, as we transform the stunning Dunvegan Castle estate into a runner's paradise. Choose from our 10K, 5K, Walking 5K, or Fun Run and immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Loch Dunvegan and the MacLeod clan's ancestral home.

The Race
10K
Push your limits on this challenging course that combines stunning scenery with varied terrain. Runners must be 15 years or older.
5K/Walking 5K
Enjoy a fun and accessible route suitable for runners and walkers of all abilities. Perfect for beginners or those looking for a leisurely challenge. Runners must be 11 years or older.
Fun Run
A family-friendly event for all ages, featuring a 2-mile course through the enchanting woodlands. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Prizes and Recognition
All finishers will receive a unique commemorative medal. Age group category prizes and exciting spot prizes will also be awarded. We celebrate diversity and inclusion, welcoming participants of all genders and identities.

Skye Events is committed to protecting our beautiful island. We encourage car-sharing, offer reusable hydration options, and provide opportunities to offset your carbon footprint by planting a tree.
A portion of the race proceeds benefit local charities, including Skye Cancer Care and Skye & Lochalsh Citizens Advice Bureau. By participating, you're not only challenging yourself but also supporting your community.
