Are you ready to get Fired up on the Forth? Join us on Saturday 5th September for our annual Dragonboat Race! A fun, high energy day on the Firth of Forth with teams paddling, cheering and competing to be Dragonboat Champion 2026. No experience needed, just plenty of enthusiasm! Whether you’re looking for the chance to push your competitive limits, build team spirit or simply have a fun day out, this event is a great way to do it. 

This ancient tradition sees two teams of 16 rowers and one drummer race against each other in a bid to reach the finish line and take home the winner's trophy. Fancy dress is optional but always encouraged! 

Rally your family, friends, sports club or colleagues to create a full crew of 17, or join a mixed boat – all coming together to raise vital funds for St Columba’s Hospice Care. 

Taking place at Port Edgar Marina, South Queensferry, this event promises a full day of fun and excitement for everyone, whether you’re taking part or cheering on from dry land. We’ll have plenty of refreshments, our famous bake sale, face painting, kid’s games, and some fundraising too!
