Test your limits and join us for a cycle challenge like no other in 2025!
The epic route starts in the Southern California's Death Valley, deemed as the hottest place on earth, and continues south through the dramatic Mojave Desert, sand dunes, volcanic cinder cones and Joshua tree forests.
You will conquer over 200miles on a bike before reaching the finish line in the coastal city of Santa Monica, Los Angeles, where we will celebrate in style and have the opportunity to explore the sights and sounds of Hollywood.

Itinerary (Subject to change)
Day 1: 18 September - Depart London for Las Vegas
Depart London Heathrow on Virgin Atlantic flight to Las Vegas. Upon arrival early evening you will be met by your guides and transferred to your hotel in Shoshone, Inyo county, California and gateway to Death Valley National Park, one of the most extreme landscapes on earth! Dinner and bike fitting.
Day 2: 19 September - Ride 91km Shoshone (483m) to Furnace Creek (158m). Elevation gain +537 ascent / -1067m descent
Your challenge begins from the small desert town of Shoshone, known for its natural springs and historic sites. The ride is undulating and starts with uninterrupted views of the stark desert landscape and distant mountains. As you enter Death Valley you will start descending gradually into the heart of the national park. The ride will start to take you below sea level, with expansive views of the valley floor, salt flats, and unique geological formations. You end todays ride in Furnace Creek, a small oasis within Death Valley. Overnight hotel.
Day 3: 20 September - Ride 88km Furnace Creek (158m) to Panamint Springs (587m). Elevation gain +1852m ascent / -1220m descent
Today is a challenging and scenic journey through one of the hottest, driest places on Earth! The route combines steep climbs and exhilarating descents, with sweeping views of rugged desert landscapes and dramatic geological features. You start with a gentle warm up through the desert basin, riding past the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, a breathtaking expanse of sand dunes near Stovepipe Wells. The route then starts a steady climb up toward Emigrant Pass, gaining elevation gradually over the next 24km/15 miles. You will be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views. From here, it’s a series of descents toward Panamint Valley, which features both flat sections and some more undulating terrain. Overnight hotel.
Day 4: 21 September - Transfer Panamint Valley to Santa Barbara. Ride 85km Santa Barbara (390m) to Port Hueneme (4m). Elevation gain +379m ascent, -380m descent
This morning you will transfer (approx. 4hrs) to the charming city of Santa Barbara, to start the second half of your cycling challenge along the scenic and iconic Californian, undulating coastline, as you start to head to your finish line! Today’s ride combines stunning Pacific Ocean views, coastal towns, and stretches of quiet beachside roads and rural farmland, making for a great day. You end your ride in Port Hueneme, a quiet beach, known for its pier and views of the Channel Islands.
Day 5: 22 September - Ride 76km Port Heuneme (4m) to Santa Monica Pier, Los Angeles. Elevation gain +497m ascent, -480m descent
The final day of riding! You leave Port Hueneme, through suburban neighborhoods and coastal areas toward Oxnard, with its laid-back beach-town vibe. The roads become busier and rolling, but the scenic coastal riding is stunning, with plenty of photo stops. The route from Malibu beach takes you along a good stretch of bike lanes and onto Santa Monica Pier, a historic landmark and vibrant finish line. Tonight, you will celebrate your achievements with a special farewell dinner. Overnight hotel.
Day 6: 23 September - Departure
Free day Los Angeles before evening, overnight flight back to London
Day 7: 24 September - Arrive in London
Cycle approximately 200 miles.
