You are now only a few clicks away from securing your entry into Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation's 'Diabetes Dawdle' Sponsored Walk 2024.

We also ask for £50 minimum sponsorship per person or £75 per family. The money you raise will support children, young people and their families across the UK living with all types of diabetes and ensure we can continue to deliver on our research and educational commitments.

Portsmouth Walkers

Meeting Point / Starting Point: 

The Spice Island Inn, 1 Bath Square, Old Portsmouth, Portsmouth PO1 2JL

Start: Saturday 28th September, 2024 at 10:30hrs

End: Saturday 28th September, 2024 at 14:00hrs

 

The flat and accessible routes starts in Old Portsmouth before taking you on a journey through historic Southsea.

You will pass landmarks such as the Square Tower, built in 1494 during the reign of Henry VII and the Royal Garrison Church, built in about 1212 by the Bishop of Winchester. You will have breath-taking views out across the Solent for large sections of the walk, passing both of Portsmouth's piers (the perfect opportunity to stop for an ice cream!). Before circling back and finishing your sponsored walk with stunning views of the Spinnaker Tower and Gunwharf Quays; proudly wearing your completion medal.
