We are delighted to invite you to a talk on Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome (CVS) in Children. CVS is a disorder that affects mainly children. In some ways it is similar to aspects of migraine and children with migraine may suffer from CVS. Like migraine, an attack can go through several stages. Some treatments and self-care techniques are also similar to those in migraine.

To help guide us through the murky water is Paediatric Gastroenterologist, Prof. Billy Bourke from CHI Crumlin.

Prof. Bourke is Paediatric Gastroenterologist at the National Centre for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and is associate professor of Paediatrics at UCD.

In this fascinating talk, he will go through what CVS is, how it manifests, who may be susceptible and its relationship with migraine.

This event was made possible by HSE National Lottery Award CHO 3 – North Tipperary and is supported by the Scheme to Support National Organisations which is funded by the Government of Ireland through the Department of Rural and Community Development
