Colour Run 2024


YOUR SAFETY
1.	For your safety and enjoyment of the event, we ask that you follow and adhere to the instructions given by the event organisers and event marshals.
2.	If you are unable to complete the route in full, you must inform an event marshal that you are unable to continue. Assistance can be sought if required. Alice House Hospice recommend that where possible participants should walk with an acquaintance or stay with other participants.
3.	Guide Dogs are welcome � no other pets or animals are permitted.
4.	The Colour Run involves a level of sustained physical activity. Participants make the decision to take part and must be satisfied that this activity is suitable for them as individuals. Neither, Alice Hospice nor its affiliates can be held accountable for aggravation to illness or injury sustained due to participation in this activity.
Participants are recommended to seek advice from their medical practitioner prior to taking part in this event, and make provisions to ensure their safe participation. Medical assistance will be available during the Colour Run.
5.	Participants are asked to come equipped with whatever necessary clothing, medication and nourishment is required to enable enjoyable and safe participation in this activity. We suggest all participants come equipped with a pair of sunglasses.  Sunglasses will be available to purchase on the day.
6.	Alice House Hospice reserves the right to cancel this event at any time.
7.	Refreshments will be provided at registration.  You are welcome to bring your own refreshments to consume on the run, but NO alcohol will be permitted during the run.
8.	By taking part, all participants confirm that they are happy for their names and any footage or photographs taken during the event to be used to publicise or report on the Colour Run and Alice House Hospice generally. Should special dispensation be required, it is the responsibility of the participants to inform Alice House Hospice of such requirements.
9.	Alice House Hospice reserves the right to update its terms and conditions in relation to the Colour Run at any time prior to the event. All participants will be provided with any updated terms and conditions in advance of the event or on the day of the Colour Run.

POWDERED PAINT
1.	The Event Colour throwing powder is manufactured from the raw materials that are approved for use in food and/or cosmetic applications. 
2.	The Event Colour throwing powder is completely safe and non-toxic.  However, with any fine powder Alice House Hospice recommend protective measures such as wearing a mask and goggles or similar, to protect eyes and avoid inhaling excessive quantities.    Tie hair back wherever possible and protect with a bandana, cap or shower cap.  Bleached hair can be more porous and discolouration may occur.  The colour is usually washed away with a shower after the event.
3.	With a bit of soap and water the colour will wash from hair and skin, a long soak in a hot bath is more effective than a shower in cleaning the skin.  In cases of heavy powdering don�t worry if it doesn�t come out straight away! Temporary colouration of hair and skin can happen, repeat washing may be necessary.
4.	A white t-shirt will be provided to each entrant.  Alice House Hospice is not responsible for the staining of clothing.
5.	Alice House Hospice also suggest that your transport is protected from the paint powder. For example, covering car seats in plastic to avoid participants� cars becoming covered in powder paint.
6.	Alice House Hospice requests that participants avoid throwing paint close to vehicles and technical equipment.
7.	Event participants bring mobiles phones and other technical equipment at their own risk.  Alice House Hospice cannot take responsibility for any damage to personal items. 


SPECTATORS
1.	We welcome family and friends to support participants and spend a great day at the Colour Run with us. However, powdered paint will travel and you may end up leaving wearing a little bit more colour than you�d planned. Please choose your clothing and spectator spot carefully.
