Rowcroft’s volunteers will collect trees from the wider South Devon community in Totnes (TQ9), Newton Abbot (TQ12 only) and Teignmouth (TQ14), Marldon & Compton (part of TQ3).

Devon Tree Services will chip the trees and sell as mulch to raise additional funds for the hospice.

Please ensure your tree is outside your house, easily accessible and clearly marked ‘Rowcroft pick-up’ by 8am on Monday 8 January to ensure a speedy collection. All decorations will need to be removed prior to collection.

The funds raised from this initiative will directly sustain the vital care services that Rowcroft provides. For example:

£5 could pay for two nutritious hand-cooked meals for patients with life-limiting illnesses in Rowcroft’s Inpatient Unit

£15 could pay for bereavement support for a grieving son or daughter who has lost a parent

£25 could fund an hour of care during a first home visit by a Rowcroft nurse, so they can start offering tailored specialist support to a patient and their loved ones
