Chornobyl 22 (Ukraine, 2022) is a powerful short documentary by acclaimed Ukrainian filmmaker Oleksiy Radynski, produced by Lyuba Knorozok.

The film offers a stark and intimate portrayal of the Russian occupation of the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone in early 2022.

Blending personal testimonies with covertly recorded footage, the film follows a local informant who secretly documents the presence and actions of Russian troops.

Chornobyl 22 is both a document of occupation and a reflection on memory, resilience, and the enduring global consequences of war.

Developed as part of The Reckoning Project, an international initiative dedicated to documenting and investigating war crimes in Ukraine. More about the initiative can be found HERE
