About the Children's Cancer Run:
Each year the event sees over 10,000 runners and spectators raise hundreds of thousands of pounds to support children and families affected by cancer in our region. By taking part in the Children’s Cancer Run and raising money for Children’s Cancer North, you’re making a difference to the lives of everyone that need the charity’s support.
If you have little legs, or use a wheelchair/pushchair, you can take part in the 1km Mini Run. For older children and adults, there’s a three or five mile route through High Gosforth Park, finishing inside Newcastle Racecourse.
And if that wasn’t fun enough, there’s also an array of live entertainment, local food stalls, fairground rides, and more in the event village!
