Want an autumn marathon to train towards in 2024? Then look no further! Chester Marathon is a sell out event and the 6th largest marathon in the UK.

Chester is also a qualifying race for the World Majors Marathon Series so why not move one step closer to your running goals and help those whose lives have been put on hold because of migraine.

You can expect some fast times over this stunning PB marathon course on closed roads covering 19 miles in England and 7 miles in Wales. You will run past all Chester's iconic landmarks (Roman Walls, Cathedral, Medieval Rows, Eastgate Clock, Amphitheatre) before heading out to the stunning Cheshire and North Wales countryside and villages; returning alongside the River Dee for a unforgettable finish on Castle Drive. The support in the villages and communities along the course is one of the many highlights of the race.

So, grab your running shoes and join thousands of others on this historic marathon route and raise vital funds for people living with debilitating migraine.

To take part you just need to pay a £50 registration fee and pledge to raise £250 for people living with debilitating migraine. To guarantee your place, we ask that you raise at least £180 two months before the event.

The Migraine Trust is dedicated to helping people affected by migraine. We are the only UK migraine charity providing information and support, campaigning for awareness and change, and funding and promoting research.

One in seven people in the UK live with migraine, and this complex and debilitating neurological disorder significantly affects their lives. We have been leading and bringing the migraine community together to change this since 1965.

Every year over two million people visit our website and thousands contact our helplines for information and support on all aspects of migraine and for help in managing it at work, in education, and in accessing healthcare.

We campaign for increased awareness and understanding of migraine, and national policy change to improve the lives of people who get it.
