Christmas Relay

A one-mile four-person team relay on predominantly flat hoggin paths with a small, grassed undulating stretch which may become muddy if wet. Trail shoes will not be required.
You will be asked to predict your one-mile finish time on entry and the skill will be to maintain your pace over one mile to match your predicted time, but without the use of personal timing devices. This is also known as running ‘naked’.
The event will be chip timed. All competitors will receive a gingerbread medal and mince pie on completion. Prizes will be given for the team first past the post, the team with the closest predicted time and the individual with the closest predicted time.
We look forward to seeing you fully clothed but without your timing devices on Sunday 19th December 2021. The race will start promptly at 11am. Christmas hats are encouraged but not compulsory.
