This session is being facilitated by Nexus for anyone who works with children & young people in the Sports or Faith Sectors in Northern Ireland. This session aims to increase awareness of what Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) is, what the warning signs are and how best to support and signpost as part of safeguarding children.

The aim is that by the end of the session, participants will:
- Gain a better understanding of CSE, the definition and types.
- Gain an increased awareness and knowledge of the nature and scope of CSE in NI.
- Be more aware of the warning signs, risks, vulnerabilities and indicators of CSE.
- Have an increased awareness of the underlying processes associated with CSE including grooming, coercion, power imbalance and concept of exchange.
- Learn more about CSE in the digital world.
- Gain a better understanding of the impact and effects of CSE into adulthood.
- Gain an awareness of the legislation and support services available and safeguarding responsibilities.
