Come and join us as we celebrate our Countryside Day at Daisy Meadow Dairy Farm, Winchester Street, Botley, Southampton, SO30 2AA on Sunday 31st August.

At CPRE Hampshire, we believe that the countryside should be celebrated for all the brilliant ways it enriches our lives, past present and future!

Suitable for all ages, including families, we have put together a range of activities, talks and workshops to encompass the many aspects of the countryside we all connect to whether it be walks, the food we eat, heritage crafts, spotting wildlife or seeing livestock. Check out the schedule of events to see what most appeals to you!

Details for the day:

The activities for the day will run from 10am - 3pm, with a BBQ lunch available from 12-1pm including vegetarian options.

Ice creams and milkshakes made from the milk produced on the farm will be availble all day.

Tickets:

• Tickets cost £5
• Under 18's go free
• As this is a working farm we are unable to allow dogs. Apologies in advance!

Bookable activities: Some activities, such as the Foraging Walks and Willow Weaving Workshops, require a separate ticket, which must be booked in addition to your Countryside Day entry ticket.

• Hedgerow Foraging 10am - £10
• Willow Weaving - Swifts and Swallows 10am - £15
• Willow Weaving - Cone Bird Feeders 1pm - £15

Important information:

Everyone is welcome (under 18yrs must be accompanied by an adult).

The event will go ahead drizzle or shine, but we will let you know if we are cancelling due to more extreme weather.

The event is primarily outdoors with limited cover so please wear appropriate clothing for the weather.
