Consulate General of India Edinburgh and Mother Earth Hindu Temple Glasgow warmly invite you to celebrate the 12th International Day of Yoga 2026.
This global event, recognized by the United Nations and endorsed by All In-Glasgow 2026 as its support campaign for Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026, promotes physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
FREE ENTRY. REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY.

Whether you are new to Yoga or a skilled Yoga enthusiast, join us for the day (or attend as many sessions of your choice) of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness as we celebrate the transformative power of Yoga! The sessions will be guided by certified and renowned Yoga instructors.
Instructions:
* Pre-registration is mandatory. You may book one or as many sessions as you may like. Please read the instructions below and carefully select the yoga session(s) that you would like to book. Please spellcheck your email to receive any update about your booked session(s).
* Arrive sharp on time. Bring your own yoga mat, water bottle, and positive energy for a rejuvenating experience. Wear comfortable active-wear for the Yoga sessions.
* Vegetarian (Sattvik) refreshments and drinks from stalls will be available for purchase. Card/ Cash payments will be accepted.
* You may bring your own packed lunch or snacks. However be mindful, only vegetarian food or drinks are permitted in the Temple premises.

If at any time while participating in the Yoga event, you feel discomfort, strain or physical injury or feel unwell, please stop and seek help from one of our volunteers or first aid providers. In case of any medical emergency please call 999 for emergency services support. By attending this event you accept that the event organisers are not liable for any injury, or damages, to person or property, resulting from taking part in the event. Those under 16 years of age must have this event registration booked by a parent or guardian.
By attending this event, whether as a participant or otherwise (e.g. as a supporter), you acknowledge that images may be captured during the event using film photography, digital photography, video or other medium and may be used by the event organising committee to promote the future events in social media websites, promotional leaflets and brochures and other publicity material (such as internal and external newsletters). The images may also be provided to the media for publication in local or national newspapers or magazines.
The event organisers acknowledge responsibilities in capturing images by photography or other means in particular with reference to:
• The Protection of Children Act 1978;
• An individual’s right to privacy under The Human Rights Act 1998; and
• The Data Protection Act 2018.
Unless express objections are received, individuals attending this event are deemed to have given their consent by attending or remaining at the event.
The organisers shall take no responsibility for the capture and use of any images taken at the event by any third party not directly engaged by the organisers to do so on its behalf and accepts no liability for the actions of such third parties.
