How did you hear about this event?

1.  The Participant shall complete the Entry Form online and submit it together with payment of the Entry Fee online in accordance with the Scottish SPCA website.

2.  By submitting your application and paying your entry fee you agree to enter the Event and also agree to abide by these conditions of entry and any instructions given to you by the Event Organisers, during or after the Event.

3.  Each Participant must agree to the disclaimer and Terms & Conditions before participating in the Event.

4.  All Participants acknowledge that the Event is physically strenuous and participation in the event could result in personal injury. As such they must be medically fit to participate and take full responsibility for their own personal health and fitness. Participants are strongly advised to consult a doctor before undertaking any strenuous exercise or training programme, or participating in the Event. It is your responsibility to obtain any necessary personal insurance in connection with the Event.

5.  Please note that there is a minimum fundraising target of �250 for this event.

Each charity place at an event represents an important and valuable source of fundraising for us. As we have made an investment to be able to offer places at some events, we therefore ask each applicant to pledge to raise a minimum level of sponsorship if they subsequently take part in an event. 

We can of course provide help and advice with your fundraising activities if required and if you have any concerns about reaching your target, please talk to us as soon as possible.


6.  The Participant agrees to abide by all applicable rules and regulations of any relevant sporting governing bodies that may oversee the Event.

7.  The Participant acknowledges and accepts that circumstances concerning an Event may change from time to time for reasons out of the Scottish SPCA's reasonable control or otherwise.

8.  It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct equipment, footwear and clothing for the Event, taking weather conditions into account.

9.  You confirm that you will be 18 years of age�or older to create your fundraising page. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian to create and monitor their fundraising page.

10.  By signing up and giving your contact details you accept that the Scottish SPCA can contact you about the event by email, post and phone.
In addition to contacting you about this specific event, depending on the contact preferences you have opted for, we will also contact you about our work, such as updates on our work, awareness raising and other fundraising activities. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting Scottish SPCA on fundraising@scottishspca.org, calling 03000 999 999 (option 4) or unsubscirbing at the bottom of any email. 11.  You are responsible for ensuring all donations raised by you from taking part in the event are paid to the Scottish SPCA (Scottish Charity No. SC 006467) and that you do this within 7 days after the event has ended. Money donated on your online fundraising page will be collected automatically by the Scottish SPCA and requires no further action from you. Other ways to pay in donations are as follows:
Over the phone by calling Scottish SPCA on 03000 999 999 (option 4) and providing details of a credit or debit card.
Cheques should be made payable to ‘Scottish SPCA’ and sent to Scottish SPCA, Kingseat Road, Halbeath, Dunfermline, Fife, KY11 8
