Grab your mates, put on your walking boots and join us for the second annual Big Somerset Cricket Bash 5km for St Margaret’s Hospice! 

Enjoy a great day out, make new memories and most importantly, help to make a massive difference to families in the local community. St Margaret’s supports around 5000 patients and their loved ones across Somerset each year, and we can’t do it without your help. By attending this event, bringing your friends and family along and raising additional sponsorship, you can really make a difference to the patients who rely on our vital service at home, in our Sunflower Centres or at our specialist In-Patient Unit.  

Start the day at our Taunton hospice where you’ll be greeted with a bacon sandwich and change into your official event T-shirt. You’ll then take a scenic 5km stride to the County Cricket Ground on what will hopefully be a beautiful summer’s morning. Many walk in memory of loved ones, or just take the time to catch up with friends new and old.  

On arrival at the cricket ground grab your free pint of cider and take your seats for the 11am toss. The Somerset boys will be playing the Warwickshire Bears in the County Championships – and there will be much more entertainment, food and drink and offer throughout the day.
